Cost of education increases, insurance, and professional registration all contributes to the high cost of therapy. The pandemic has put a strain on the number of available mental health providers. We have not fully understood the repercussions that isolation has on a person. Even with what we know about solitary confinement (how it’s cruel punishment that should not be practiced), we haven’t seen a event like this in our lifetime. They will be known as the ‘pandemic generation’.
